Death is where ones life ends
Death is the end of pain
Before one dies
She was hurt
Bandages are used to heal ones wounds
Did it work?
No.....
ok this is suppose to be a contest entery for the original character club or at least i think that is what they are called any way... this is the best i could come up with... it is a cardboard cut out of a girl that is killed the things are...
a.puddle of blood-(death)
b.bandage
c.some sort of cuff with a chain... (bondage)
d.the girl (baby) well the pose she is at its suppose to represent a baby.... hope you like it.....^_^
Whoaaaa Ho, your work just keeps getting better and better! This is so original, I've never seen anything quite like it! It's a bit like one of those KISS dolls but it's quite dark and sinister - very deep. The poem in your description is brilliant too and very fitting. That ending
"Bandages are used to heal ones wounds
Did it work?
No....."
is really fresh and thought provoking. If I can get the print up and running and printing at a good quality I'll print this out and arrange all the pieces myself - that's another thing that makes this so amazing. It's like interactive art, the viewer can manipulate it in any way that they want with your set themes and ideas.
Everything about it's so new to me! The way you've done the puddle of blood with a gap in the middle for her body is brilliant, and the items you chose are really cool.
After seeing this I'd really recommend you try and get your hands on a DAPrints account and sell this so that people can either frame it as it is or cut it out and play with the high quality printed image themself.
I don't normally say so in my comments, but I'm definitely going to add this to my favourites!
my oh my how neat!!! i love the simplification of everything this looks so professinal like!!!!! i really like the pose she's in it reminds me of an embryo or a small child. your poem is gorgeous as well. *adds to faves*
